This was a very wet morning indeed. Of course, everything is lush and glorious, but, enough, already! We need to dry out.
The squirrels are ravenous in wet weather.
Once again, no riding, and not much to blog about. I worked on some indoor projects. I desperately want to lessen the material possessions in my life… to travel lighter. It seems an insurmountable task, but I am taking baby steps.
I saw the Memorial Day New York Times, with the names of so many people who have succumbed to Covid-19. I’m so emotional, I couldn’t really read it, but I looked at it briefly. There were one sentence descriptors of people. One that stood out to me was “He liked his bacon and hash browns crispy”. That was the one sentence someone gave to sum up this person? It got me thinking about what one sentence I would use for myself. I’m still pondering. It’s a daunting task, actually, when you think about it.
The rain let up in the afternoon and I wandered around with the camera.

The horses were happy with cloudy and cool weather continuing.

At the end of the day, Roscoe is a comfort.
Finally, here is the Montana mule baby picture of the day. And Rainy is NOT weaned! On the contrary, she was meeting Jaspurr this morning, and just after this picture was taken, Gracie screamed and struck, presuming a miniature mountain lion was endangering her foal. Her mother is very much involved in Rainy’s life.
Stay safe, stay well, be grateful.
That picture of Harry changing his creation’s mouth is neat. Just the perfect moment of creation captured.
She lived a life of love and beauty among the animals with her Harry. ❤️
Oh, Linda, I am overcome! ❤️
She rode anything and everything and did it well.
Oh, Janis, you flatter and humble me, again! But I am more interested in what one sentence you would want for yourself. I am sort of a connoisseur of obituaries, and they are hard enough to distill to a couple of paragraphs. But one sentence is a challenge indeed. I shall keep your sentence handy in case I become a Covid statistic!
Harry’s current subject looks as though he’s ready to say something, “Great recovery Harry!”
You take such beautiful photos, Anne.
