Another glorious late autumn day, started frosty but warmed quickly. We ran some errands together this morning, with Weedy, of course.
I decided to take some portraits of the dogs today.

Jane and I had a delightful ride with Derry and Bart, apart from occasional bad language on my part when Bart spooked. I am too old for spooking!

Marilyn rode by, just as we were about to ride Oisin and Stone, so we all rode together, which was fun. We had worried that Roy’s exuberance would bother our horses, but he was a perfect gentleman, and it was fun to have a dog along, like we always did years ago.

When it was time to do the evening chores (bringing horses in and feeding them, and feeding felines), I was accompanied to the barn by two orange cats.

This evening, there was no room for me on the sofa.
There was a beautiful crescent moon tonight, snagged on the tree as the sun set.
Stay safe, stay well, set the clocks back tonight. Peace.
