Just a short blog entry this evening. It’s late and I haven’t much to tell.
Bart is on his summer schedule of morning naps.
Judi Crouch sent this treasure of a picture from September, 2009 of the entire litter of four Crouchers in one frame, shortly before they emigrated from University City to Bronze Fox Farm. They are Twizzler and Wedge in the foreground, Licorice and Skittle behind. Wedge was the boldest of the four, and he vanished within the first year. We like to think he has found another happy home nearby. The other three have brought us mostly joy for almost 12 years.
Oisin has his summer itches, despite the clothing. He has convinced Stone to help with scratching. The fly sheet is beginning to show some wear and tear, and it’s not even officially summer yet!
The garden is beautiful and lush. All I need is time to tend it.
Catmint (nepeta) Peonies in bloom
That’s all for now. Stay safe, stay well. Peace.
