One more day of shoveling, I hope the last for a while. Harry ventured out, after I cleared the last of the snow in front of the barn overhang. He and Weedy went to town for groceries and coffee. A very cold start gave way to sunshine and melting as the day passed.
A wren and a mockingbird visited the feeders, along with the usual characters.
The cats were warm and cozy in the tack room, but glad of sunshine later in the day.
In the house after lunch, it’s prime time for resting on the bed.
Jane and I shoveled the corner after lunch so that Harlan can make the turn from here to Jane’s house tomorrow. The tractor cannot be as precise as shovels.
The horses are staying fit in the snow.
Sunset promises another nice day tomorrow. More melting! And fence repair when conditions allow.
Be safe, be well. Peace.
A delight as usual. I’m getting caught up today, first thing – enjoy Anne’s blogs!
