Thanks to all the help I have had, my recovery has been rapid. Full effects of stem cell treatment are seen in 7 to 9 months, but already, today, I have no pain. Sometimes there is a “roller coaster” effect, with good days and bad days, but I am encouraged.
I am also uplifted because I have seen a couple of blue jays, and finally got a picture. I did also see a pileated woodpecker, but it flew off just as I lifted the camera. I include that picture anyway, because they are such cool birds.
The horses were wild yesterday, but I was unable to run out for photos, so a few pathetic shots from the porch will have to do. They are staying fit, anyway!
Today, with warm afternoon sun, it was a more sedate scene in the pasture.
I have occupied myself with indoor projects as I recuperate, and last night got a boost by virtue of a delicious meal out with friends. Much laughter made good medicine.
In the house, the dogs are always a delight. Especially when Harry fixes steak for late lunch…
It was a nice afternoon today, and Tom Morris availed himself of the dog bed on the porch, before heading over to the barn for dinner. I am well enough now to do that part of the day’s chores myself. Jane has been relieved of duty, but Marianne is still doing all the “real” work.
Harry had a couple of projects to do, and I got a picture as he emerged from the studio.
The strange, errant hollyhock that I picked before the frost a couple of weeks ago, has delighted me for two weeks now. It has come to the end of its run, but it has been a shadow of summer on the kitchen windowsill in November. The world is full of wonders.
Be safe, be well. Slava Ukraini! Peace.
Happy to hear you are healing well. BFF looks beautiful still. Here everything is white. There is a party at our bird feeder, but I rely on your fabulous photos for close-ups.
Slava Ukraini.
Peace
Your blog always brightens my day. Thank you for sharing your pictures and insights ❤️ They are always welcome!!! Glad to hear you are healing well. See you in a few weeks at the 2nd week of DMG in December I hope!!! Hugs to you, Harry, and the four-legged crew.
Ooh…that looks like a very sore knee. But worth temporary pain if it brings long term relief. I love the hollyhock…and all the animals!
Glad the knee is cooperating
