It seems to me that this has been an unusually cool April in Missouri, so far. Today was chilly to start, but it was a glorious Spring day.
Harry and I enjoyed breakfast together, with an Easter rabbit on the table a day early.
Marianne came to do barn work, and Nathaniel and Allison came to mow.
Meanwhile, Jane and I took Bart to Mechlin Farm for a lesson. Since we didn’t go to Kansas City, Kris advised me to take an indoor lesson, since Omaha is an indoor facility. He and Sarah Mechlin often work together, so he mentioned to her what I need to work on. It was challenging and fun, and I definitely needed to do this. So much so, that I must return tomorrow for a reinforcement of what I tried to improve – mainly, going forward!!! Jane took video, from which I pulled some shots. It’s very helpful, but also depressing, to see the video. My mistakes are glaring, but Sarah helped a lot.
Back home, Oisin and Stone watched the mowing and took life easy, but that bad boy, Oisin removed his mask. He is such a naughty anti masker!
Marilyn rode through on Trigger with Roy. We had a nice chat, but I was out without a camera, cleaning the trailer after our adventure to Mechlin Farm. Later, I took the camera out and got some pictures on a beautiful day.
A handsome artist in front of the house…
And Harry took a picture of me with Weedy to end the day…
Be safe, be well, Happy Easter! Slava Ukraini! Peace.
Some days remind me of November. While I do not look forward to the burning heat of summer either, I would like more nice days instead of these chilly, windy ones!
Well, Janis, this Easter Sunday makes yesterday seem quite pleasant!
Happy Easter to you and Harry!
Same to you and Tom from us, and especially love from the three Crouchers!
Handsome artist and handsome wife, horse lady extraordinaire. Happy Easter to you both wonderful people. Up here in the great white North, temperatures are still very cool. We are looking forward to real Spring, and the possible outdoor terrasses, but right now, it’s indoors and layers of sweaters.
Happy Easter, Catherine! But we just had a postcard, are you not en France maintenant!? Have you returned to the frozen North? How we do love those baudets du Poitou!! Lovely to hear from you.
Cheerful & cheering! Thanks-
