An auspicious day, the vernal equinox, first day of Spring, produced our long anticipated follow up x ray along with a lot more rain…
Harry was well attended in bed this morning…
Meanwhile, I had help in the barn…
We are getting more proficient at dealing with things, and Harry is getting stronger every day, so we were early to the doctor’s office and it was much less struggle. Dr. Spitzfaden wasn’t there, but his PA, Joey, looked after us, and he put up the x ray we have been hoping to see! The new bone is forming – it’s laying down callous and everything looks good.
Furthermore, Joey changed the leg brace so that Harry can bend his knee now. It’s life altering. Suddenly Harry has much more independence. He still needs me for a few things, but he can get up and down by himself. We were ecstatic – what a different trip home compared to three weeks ago, when we were so sad to see the x ray!
Harry has been craving an Imo’s Pizza, so we stopped on the way home and picked one up.
I was able to go to the barn afterwards without worrying about Harry.
Life is good, for now at least, we can rest easy…
This is Really good!! I LOVE that X Ray!!!
Yay Go Harry Go! 🙂❤🙂
Thanks a lot Harry you’ve got me craving Imo’s and I’m a thousand miles away from any provel cheese :-/
