Jane came over this morning to make sure we could get Harry safely into the car for a trip to Quest in Wentzville for bloodwork. The dogs are always delighted to see her, and I actually remembered to get a picture!

There was no problem getting into the car, and Harry prefers the backseat to the wheelchair van, so we will not be seeing Pastor Keith after all. There was a bit of a hassle with the paperwork, but it got sorted, blood was taken, and we got home safe and sound.

Harry settled into the car

Harry was exhausted after a late breakfast, and took a good, long nap. As did his horse…

It was a beautiful day, and I got outside for a little while and took some pictures while Harry rested.

Harry was on the phone with his friend and I snapped some pictures. Gerry says he’s sick of seeing pictures of Harry and his dog in bed! Well, Gerry, these are for you…

The time for daily updates might be coming to an end. Tomorrow is a big day, with the cardioversion scheduled for 1 PM, so I will certainly report on that. But once our concerns return to just healing the leg, I may slack off the blogging, since it is getting a bit repetitive, it’s true.

Thanks to all for the many offers of help and support. Stay safe from Coronavirus out there. We are hoping to get through the hospital visit without contracting further problems!

    1. Thanks, Linda! I trust you are all safely in Texas by now. I hope the Storytelling Festival is unaffected by Coronavirus cancellations.

  1. Phooey! I love these updates, your exquisite and amusing photography, Weedy and Harry in bed I’ll never tire of, and of course, keeping up with Harry’s healing stands paramount! I’m back in Lexington after visiting my cousin and sharing the Bemer with a few down in Wellington. Always thinking of you all, and sending mucho hugs!!

Oh, I’m so glad you got some time in Wellington, the ultimate horse bubble!! Soon we must have a chat to try to solve all problems of the world (of which there are plenty, lately!).
