I had a very early start this morning, and the horses were shocked at their strange schedule, but they coped. They were pretty tired, though.

After I departed in the dark, Harry left just after the sun came up for a number of appointments. He returned, the successful hunter, with a prize pizza for lunch. The dogs were happy to see him, as was I.

A postprandial rest was in order. The master and his hounds…

As the sun settled in the west, the horses were ready to come in. They are hoping for a full night’s rest.

Finally, one of our garden treasures is a mosaic from long ago Pike County days, made by our friend and artist, Jonee Nehus. I enjoyed a long phone call with her today and look forward to seeing her when these crazy pandemic times are past.

Stay safe, stay well, keep in touch.
