Another wet day, and another day off for the horses. But there was plenty of sunshine between showers.
Jane and I harvested lots of strawberries.
I ventured out to the feed store, then to Rebecca’s for some eggs, and to the grocery store.
Harry worked hard in the studio, and did his exercises. I keep waiting to catch some of his discipline.
Squirrels are getting less skittish and more curious.
Weedy always enjoys the sunbeams, and the mock orange is carpeting the ground in white petals…
Roscoe felt it was time for me to post a picture of him, so that everyone remembers he is the King of cats here.
Marianne is still working hard and smiling.
I was very happy to receive a package from Dyson with a filter I need to vacuum. Alas, it turned out that I ordered incorrectly, so I had to make another trip out to Wentzville to the UPS store to return the incorrect part. And now it will be another ten days before I can vacuum! Thank goodness there are no physical therapists visiting!
Finally, two Montana mule baby pictures for your enjoyment.
Rainy loves scratches A grumpy mule baby face!
Stay safe, stay well, stay dry.
I wonder why Rainy is so grumpy? Such an expressive face! The info about your serving ancestors, remarkable. What a treasure to have the matchbox. Harry looks strong and healthy, walking to the arena. And the strawberries are delicious, glad to have local.
We had so much rain in a quick burst last evening we had Lake Collette. I’m feeling quite moldy.
We’re always moldy in KY, but green, very green. Poor baby Rainy in MT, weaning already? Roscoe is the King, and Weedy the Wisdom ( all that focus on rest, remember?). Love your Bronze Fox Farm, love the flowers, the squirrels, the frogs, the trees, the cats, the human smiles, the all of it, heaven, a little slice of heaven you so graciously share with us daily, thank you.
