It was a frosty start, but a beautiful day, with sunshine at last! The birds were beautiful, as always, but I only took a couple of pictures.
Tuesday mornings are hectic, because stalls must be done before the dumpster gets emptied, and Harlan, the trash guy, comes early most Tuesdays. We fill it completely in seven days, so must stay on schedule with that. After barn work, I did get morning pictures of the four dogs, as they awaited our breakfast and the possibility of leftovers
Weedy Mistletoe Cedar Nettle
We got a bedding delivery, and I helped stack, dreading a gridlock with feed truck and trash truck. But as luck had it, poor Harlan had a water pump go out, so he was delayed.

Jane came over for lunch and I got a picture of her new haircut.
I went out for one brief errand and stopped to take a picture of our neighbor’s mule – a real Missouri mule, not a glamorous Montana mule baby. I always love to see her. Sadly, her partner, a horse, had to be put down last Fall, but she has friends (Marianne’s horses) she can see nearby, and seems to be content.
Oisin’s small laceration on his pastern / heel is not mending, so Marilyn came by to cut off the small flap that won’t seal down. Now, it can granulate in. I couldn’t get pictures, but here he is after the minor procedure, with a green Irish bandage. He was such a good patient! All it required was a local anesthetic. He was so well behaved, no tranquilizer was necessary. Well, those of us who know him, know he is tough. Good boy, Oisin!
Twizzler and Skittle were very happy to see the sunshine.
Twizzler out and about Skittle wondering where Twizzler went
Later, at the end of a lovely day…
Roscoe Tom Morris and The Crouchers
Stay safe, stay well, cherish friends.
Sun! A reprieve from all those awful grey days, that, however, make the sun so very special. Cardinals are the bright spots in these short dark days, so striking. I really enjoy the cat pictures, happy cats! Stay warm. Thank you!!
The Georgia Senate runoff results and Croucher pics….. what a great way to start our 48th anniversary!
