This morning was delightful, but winds from the west brought another unseasonably warm day by mid-morning. Marmalade and Tom Morris were hanging out together at the house when I wandered out. They came straight to the barn and enjoyed a bite of breakfast together, before Marmalade moved on to shed breakfast with Licorice. Life is good.
Tuesday is trash day, and Harlan arrived right on schedule, with enough time for a short visit, before he moved on to Jane’s dumpster. Harlan is now fully vaccinated. Harry came out to say hello.
We brought the horses in from the grass, to their dismay. Bart had removed his mask, that bad boy.
The second string awaiting their ride
Birds are plentiful. The woods are full of song. Last night, alas, a varmint knocked down the cage feeder before I had a chance to bring it in. There was a crash, and a small cry of dismay. The hanger is somewhat bent. I think the varmint might be sore, too.

After riding, I worked the ring, since there is rain in the forecast, which we now need. Then, I took some pictures around the place, starting with three of the four dogs (Weedy was hanging out with Harry and missed the photo shoot).

And then, some flowers. It is a spectacular Spring!

Finally, I went over to Jane’s house to get her incredible magnolia and other flowering trees.

Stay safe, stay well. Peace.
Everyone looks content and the Quince is amazing!

I guess Bart is a mask denier. 😁
