It was a beautiful day, dawning on the remains of light rain in the night. Since it was Trash Day, I set to work in the barn. Harlan arrived to do his masterful emptying and orientation of the dumpster. Shortly thereafter, Jay arrived as promised to install the new dishwasher. It went smoothly. I cleaned under the old machine before he installed the new one, and discovered the insulation was off the wire that provides power. Jay surmised it had been that way since the house was built. He sees things like this all the time. He wrapped it securely in electrical tape, and was relieved not to have been shocked. I was totally shocked, of course, that the house hasn’t burned down in seventeen years of an exposed wire against the hardwood floor. Guardian angels on duty!
The new dishwasher in place Harry is happy, weeping crabapple is spectacular
The dogs had a lovely day with the door to the back yard open so they could come and go at will, visiting Harry in the studio. The whole place smells heavenly. Weeping crabapples in front and fragrant viburnum out back, temperatures warm enough, but not too warm. What a Spring!

Jane and Derry came over at the appointed time and we had a fun ride. As always, the redheads were an inspiration. Oisin and I jumped, too, but no pictures of that.

Finally, Roscoe spent the day outside having adventures. When it’s time for afternoon meditation, I call him, and he comes running to participate. Roscoe is a very contemplative creature.
Stay safe, stay well. Peace.
Happy to see all is well at BFF. Your Missouri spring is looking marvelous indeed. Enjoy!

Paradise, no wonder Harry is so happy!!
Great shots and conveyance of so many doings by humans & critters alike. Both Cedar and Harry look so beatific in the flowering tree pictures, they could be someone’s mother! Definitely a lovely spring report!
