It has been a very long day, and another day of showing will happen tomorrow, so I don’t have time to blog much.
Derry was amazing in the Low Adult class (1 meter / 3’3″). She jumped around in an easy double clear and was 2nd – an impressive primary color. As Kris says, “the Canadian winner”. I had so much fun!
Bart was very good, too, but had a knockdown (4 faults) at the third jump in the High Children’s/Adult class (1.10 meter / 3’7″). The Children and Adults were combined. He finished 7th, which was not last, and he was perfect at every jump but the one. I was very pleased, and feel so lucky to ride two fabulous chestnut Irish horses. We do it again tomorrow, and I am already nervous, despite exhaustion.
It was a long, hot day.
Bart is now home and out with his pals on a cool evening. Derry is back in her diet pasture at Jane’s.
Here are pictures lifted from videos done by Jane and Harry.
Derry on course Derry at the last jump Derry finished double clear Bart on course Bart did not touch this one!
More to come…
Stay safe, stay well. Peace.
