The Full Hunter’s Moon was very bright last night, and was still hovering over the pasture this morning.
Harry and I went on errands into St. Louis county this morning, which was fun, but tiring. When we got home, Harry was enthusiastically greeted by dogs, of course. Then, he took a rest with Weedy and Mistletoe.
Meanwhile, out in the barn, most of the cats, except Marmalade and Skittle, avoided the camera.
I made my way out to the oak mite-free woods to do some work with the chainsaw. There, I saw some beautiful fungi.
Unusual, delicate, and beautiful fungus
Stone has an itchy tummy. He scratches it by rocking back and forth on the ground. I treated it this evening with anti itch medication.
I forgot to post a picture of the spewing pump that caused the stream to shut down yesterday. Connie will be out to fix it, but she hasn’t arrived yet. Once I diagnosed the issue, I unplugged the pump. I am going to try to learn how to fix it myself when Connie is here, so that I can do it in the future. It’s always something!
Over at Jane’s house, after the completion of her new deck just a couple of days ago, a beautiful new concrete slab has been poured on the east side of her shed. This will facilitate drainage and get rid of the slop she has been dealing with in the wet season. It looks beautiful in pictures, I will make a visit tomorrow.

And finally, Harry brings some chicken bones out to the dumpster, as I am on my way to the house to “fix dinner”. It’s not all sculpting, his life!
Stay safe, stay well. Peace.
This is such a treat, Anne! Keep them coming. They’re the highlight of the pandemic. Have Harry take some pictures of you, too!
Loving this season of your blog, especially your excellent photography in today’s episode. Your pictures of the Full Hunter’s Moon remind me of this song, from my Diana playlist.

Love the song, I Become the Moon. Thanks Mark! And the coral like fungus, I’ve never seen that one, yet. So many, exotic looking Fungi, I’m intrigued. I took a nap today with Etta, the Irish Jack, I thought of Harry and Weedy and Mistletoe. Peaceful. Oh the moon, I saw it early. huge golden orange, massive really. Awe, always a little awe to sparkle ones day. Thanks Anne!
