Although today is Guy Fawkes Day, or Bonfire night as it is sometimes called, we prefer to think of it as our friend Laura’s birthday. It was a beautiful day for a birthday, or for anything, actually. The horses are staying out day and night during this spell of perfect weather with mild nights. They are bit confused, but seem content. Horses being creatures of habit, a change in routine is always puzzling. Luckily, my horses are accustomed to expecting the unexpected.
It was a hectic day, but nothing to blog about.

At the end of the day, the horses wondered if they should come to the gate. No need, I told them, as I proffered carrots, and they went back to being feral horses.
“Really?” Oisin wonders at another night out “At least you brought carrots!” Stone says “Sounds good to me!” says Bart
The dogs enjoyed the day and settled in this evening, as did we.

Roscoe found his comfy place in the office.
And Harry found a comfy place on a chair without a dog on it!
Stay safe, stay well.
Good to see all of you. Enjoy the lovely weather. Peace.
