Today was ridiculously beautiful, though not at all seasonal. As for Christmas, it is not beginning to look at all like Christmas here. No complaints from me. Yesterday, Rebecca saw a butterfly at her house!
It was definitely a riding day, but we didn’t take many pictures. Jane and Derry came over and we had fun on our chestnut Irish horses, jumping. Jane won the competition, as usual. We both had four faults, but she made a much slicker turn than I could manage. Bart was a bit too enthusiastic. He was happy to be jumping, he HATES flatwork.
Jane and Derry are here! The only kind of flatwork Bart enjoys!
Harry and I went for a trail ride. The weather was just too nice. All the things we should be doing were put aside. Stone was perfect, while Oisin was a bit Irish and full of the joys of what felt like Spring. But we had a blast, even surviving a donkey encounter.
Happy Harry On the trail
Robin, a friend from the city, also felt this rare December day should not be wasted. He trekked all the way out for a visit. I left the boys to themselves and did some outdoor chores, since even chores were fun today.

At the end of the day, we were all tired and happy.

Nancy took the bird picture for today – bald eagles out in Montana!
Stay safe, stay well and enjoy the good days.
Happy Days! Good to see!
