Well, Harry had a bit of a rough day today, and was feeling less than his usual self. It is to be expected, after the procedure he had on Thursday. Luckily, he has competent ministration from his team of caretakers.
It was another chilly, cloudy day, creating frisky horses. Jane did ride again, and this time I knew she was coming through here by the sound of galloping hooves in the pasture, as the herd ran up to see their favorite chestnut mare. Jane says Derry was delightful again today, despite the wolf whistles from the boys in the field.

On the back porch, this dove looks cold already. Worse weather ahead.
Cora has plenty of fat to keep her warm. She was opting for a photo op to get onto the blog. She succeeded.
Fat cat Cora dora!
Harry was well tended all day, between Weedy and Mistletoe and calls from friends. Nettie and Cedar took turns on the bed, too, but I missed the picture. If I tried to stage it, there would be a dogfight!
Just before it got dark, I dumped and refilled the water trough. A toad was underneath, looking like he was planning to hibernate, which would be well advised, I think. It was a treat to see him (or her, as the case may be – I don’t know how to tell!).
Finally, Nettie, Cedar and Mistletoe join us for some evening TV at the end of a long day.
Stay safe, stay well, rest and heal.
Great photos today, as usual, but I do think Jane should frame a couple! And Cora, looks as if she’s taking up a sidewalk! Best to Harry! And, All!! ❤️
