Another crazy warm day! I spent the morning working outside. The leaves were coming down like snow, and whirling in the wind. I was busy enough that I again neglected photography. Of course, the best photo ops are almost always missed. Today, I returned the Kawasaki Mule to the shed, which startled Marmalade, who made a run for it from the stack of hay. He tried to go between the saw table leg and the mower, and he was too fat and got stuck. That caused quite a panic, and he may take days to recover his nerves. The good news is, he did show up for dinner, though he was late. I think my laughter at his dilemma was the worst part for him.

In the morning, the birds were feeding, despite the balmy weather.

Jane and I rode, and Harry again took a picture, though I did not get any pictures of him today.

Derry behaved perfectly today, and it was Bart’s turn to be an idiot, spooking at invisible things. Maybe tomorrow both horses will be delightful.

After the ride, Bart went out to roll off his saddle mark.

The sunset this evening was spectacular, forecasting a nice day tomorrow (red sky at night…). Harry got some great pictures.

Stay safe, stay well.
