This was a lovely warm day, but I had been postponing a trip for errands for several days, so, alas, I had to venture out to Wentzville this morning. As usual, my time management failures caused this trip to take all morning. Luckily, before I hopped in the car, I got some bird pictures.
Weedy had a great morning adventure and arrived home just after I did. Roscoe had returned earlier and was resting up for his next outing.

After lunch, Jane and Derry arrived for a ride.
Bart almost dumped me, spooking at the WALK, after a good warm up, so I put him on the lunge. I set a jump at the very place he spooked, and he redeemed himself, jumping beautifully.
Meanwhile, Jane and Derry were well behaved and had a good school.
Next, I got on Oisin, and had a blast. He was perfect, no hesitance about leaving the barn, and, since I didn’t ride Bart over jumps, I jumped Oisin, who enjoyed himself immensely. Never jump alone, kids, unless your upbringing predated common sense behavior. Harry got a picture of us on our way to redeeming the day.
I finished up with Stone, who was delightful.
In the barn, Skittle was very happy that Tom Morris vacated the bed containing the beautiful sweater (it is worn out in holes, by the way – don’t tell the cats).
Marmalade and Tom Morris are very similar and are becoming good friends.

Roscoe was very happy to get news that Gigi likes the color gray. He knows he is magnificent, but he likes to make new friends.

Stay safe, stay well. Peace.
I always enjoy your picture Anne. Thanks.
Gigi sounds like a delightful person!
