It was a glorious morning. Jane and I had decided not to ride, so the horses had some extra grazing time and an easy day.
Jonee and Bob Nehus stopped by to deliver one of Bob’s beautiful glass fronted cabinets. They were venturing out from Pike County to do various errands. As usual, I got distracted and forgot to take a picture with the good camera, so took a last minute snapshot with my camera phone. We really enjoyed their short visit, and the cabinet is beautiful. Bob’s woodwork is exceptional.
I wanted the box for Harry’s “head collection” in the studio. It is a shame to use Bob’s work of art to hold such a strange display, but it is a big improvement over having the heads stacked on a shelf…
The dogs were confined during the Nehus visit. Mistletoe is still in disgrace for biting Jack. Later, Harry took them outside for some “training”.
It was such a nice day that Rosie came out of the tack room. The air-conditioning was turned off.
The horses bring us much joy, even when we are not riding.
Finally, one bird picture today – a little hummingbird.
Sometimes a day of rest is not a bad thing.
Stay safe, stay well, rest sometimes.
Look at Stone being loved by Harry, Stones eyes half closed, so relaxed and happy–lovely. And, the attentive doggie class being lead by Harry certainly accomplished good behavior for all. Anne, Harry’s studio is looking like a top notch gallery! Well done!
Love all the pictures but especially the one of Harry & Stone!!
