Sunday – February 21, 2021

There was a freeze again last night, but the day warmed and the big melt continues. I spent the day doing various boring chores, nothing blog worthy, except that Jane came over for lunch. Harry made his world famous sweet potato chili. Of course, I forgot to take a picture of Jane. I did get a few bird pictures, though.

Tom Morris watched birds from a perch on the porch.

The horses were wild today. The weather was warmer, but the wind was fierce, and some rain threatened. They romped and sparred and slipped and slid, giving me gray hair, but having a great time.

Finally, Harry’s friend, Steve, wanted a picture of Harry in a St. Louis Browns hat today, so here he is…

Stay safe, stay well. Peace.

  1. Great photos of the equine gang! I have more gray too! 14th day of snow with two ice layers. Think cake: snow, ice, snow ice, snow. Worst walk of the 14 day battle today. The little melt we had froze last night. Etta and I made it around some of the park and got home, but oh my, stupid move to venture out so far! Love the St. Louis Browns cap on Harry!

  2. Anne, these photos are so, so, BEAUTIFUL!!! I have a deep LOVE for horses. Growing up in Utah I saved my money and was able to buy a broken down race horse who I named Thunder and he was truly the LOVE of my life!! So thanks so much for sending these amazing pictures.
