Fun date! 12/20/2020 I won’t live to see another like it, and should have done something memorable, but I’m afraid I didn’t.
The goldfinches were here in force this morning, another cold start.
Marianne came by to do barn work and I managed to get a couple of pictures.
The horses came up for a drink while I had my camera with me.
Stone Oisin No chewing on the fence, Bart!
Some fence repairs were done, but much of today’s work was indoors, alas. Harry made great progress in the studio, and went to the grocery store, which he said was the most crowded he has ever seen it! Weedy went along in support (he had to wait in the car). He thinks car trips are almost as much fun as adventuring through the woods, though he doesn’t understand why Harry won’t stop and check out the dead deer along the way.
Roscoe enjoyed the warmer afternoon.

The horses were self exercising this afternoon. I missed some great shots, of course. We will have to settle for this.

Once the horses were settled in the barn, Harry and I settled in the house.
Weedy is blissed out Nettie doesn’t look like she is about to be a teenager Roscoe in the office
Finally, thanks to Laura, we have this lovely little Christmas tree…
Stay safe, stay well, celebrate the season in your heart.
Happy Birthday Week Nettie! Yay Pearl brothers, picture of the day! And finally, Solstice, woohooooo, go sun go!
Peace
I always enjoy your virtual bird feeder. Thanks!
Wow look at the goldfinches… great photos of all! Fantastic winter sun, over here there’s so little light this time of year.
