Sunday – August 2, 2020

My baby brother turned 58 today. Yikes!

Jane and I started the day by changing a couple of things on the ring, then we hopped on Derry and Bart and had a good ride.

Apart from that, it was a quiet Sunday. Harry and I spent some very pleasant time on the porch with the dogs.

Another day with butterflies galore, the sun shining at last.

Rosie has complained that I don’t use enough pictures of her. This is because she is a very difficult subject, but here she is.

On my way to the shed to put the Kawasaki Mule away, I viewed this bunny. A common enough sight, but still fun to me. And better than the deer I did not get a picture of, stealing more apples from the orchard!

I took a picture of Nettie in the afternoon light as we were watching the news. Soon, the sun lost out to clouds, and now, guess what? It’s pouring rain – again! No complaints about heat, though. This is very uncommonly cool August weather. Alas, there is also thunder, so Nettie and Weedy are not enjoying the cool temperatures and patter of rain at present.

Stay safe, stay well, appreciate the ordinary.
