Still Raining – Wednesday, July 16, 2021

It rained steadily today, again. It is soggy and the humidity makes it feel much hotter than it is. But the news from elsewhere is so much worse that we really haven’t any complaints. Nancy, out in Montana, is dealing with ridiculous heat and fires. Video from German flooding is horrifying. We are counting our blessings. Speaking of which, here is a blessing resting. The horses were soaking wet when they came in this morning. I doubt there was much rest during the night!

This is a short post, since it was a day with not much of interest. Having done some research, I have decided to continue with feeding suet to the birds.

The perennial hibiscus has begun to bloom.

The sun came out this afternoon, and the horses were beautiful in the evening light. I am waiting and hoping that my new phone transfers information from my old phone. I feel like I am bound and gagged without a cell phone tonight.

Stay safe, stay well. Peace.
