Shoeing Day – June 9, 2021

The horses really needed to see Fred. Their feet were getting long. Jane and I needed to see Fred for the laughs he always brings.

After shoeing here, Fred went over to Jane’s to trim Calvin and Sandy. I dashed over with my check (and my camera) and took a few pictures while I was there.

Harry went in to St. Louis for a birthday lunch with nephew Bob, and stayed in all day to do a sculpture proposal this evening. So there are no pictures of him today. He just came home, which caused great excitement and celebration on the part of the dogs and Roscoe.

Speaking of things of which I did not get pictures – shortly after I fed the cats in the shed, around 5:30 this evening, I saw the bold raccoon in broad daylight showing up for early dinner! My efforts to lock away all bird and cat food every night are not driving him elsewhere, only changing his schedule.

Finally, today is the one year anniversary of Marmalade’s capture. He has come a long way.

Stay safe, stay well. Peace.
