Saturday – April 3, 2021

It was another beautiful day. Birds arrived early, but the light wasn’t favorable for pictures, and with one thing and another, there are NO bird pictures today!

I did some garden chores outdoors, and Jane and I scheduled riding for mid morning. Marianne was doing barn work and she took some pictures. But I got a couple of her, first.

While Jane and I were getting our pictures taken, Harry arrived with brownies for Marianne, and we got a picture with him, too.

On the way to the ring, one more shot of Marianne, whose smile is genuine and enduring. Too bad she is so busy, we haven’t ridden together for ages.

Bart was super today, and I jumped a few jumps. Jane’s eyes are slightly improved, but not enough that she is comfortable jumping. I bathed Bart and left him tied up to dry, while Jane and I rode Oisin and Stone. When we turned the horses out, they immediately rolled. I didn’t have the camera handy, so went to get it, but I was too late. Jane fixed Stone’s fly mask, which had been dislodged by the rolling. I got a picture of her instead of rolling horses.

Finally, a rolling picture of the Maltese king of cats.

Stay safe, stay well. Peace.

  1. Happy Easter Bronze Fox Farm and all!! Isn’t it a glorious time of the year? Horses rolling in mud, flies coming out in droves, birds chirping, flowers blooming, and the sun! Happy Horses, Happy Days!! And, Anne, you do have the happiest horses!!
