Another milestone today – Harry put on blue jeans. Now, the brace can go on the outside of his pants, and he can leave it off for short periods. He looks much more himself!
It was a cold and cloudy day. Not a day for inspiring pictures…
Weedy has been missed, so I made sure to get some Weedy pictures…

Jane and Derry came over for an afternoon ride. We tried to wait until the warmest part of the day, but it was still pretty chilly.

I did various chores, while Harry worked in the studio. The news seems worse every day. We continue to feel very fortunate and continue to hope that the curve will soon flatten and this pandemic will abate. Life still seems a bit surreal and I wish this was just a bad dream.
Our very good friend turned 80 today. An inauspicious year for such an auspicious birthday, but in time we will be able to get together again and celebrate.
In good news around here, Tom Morris finished his course of antibiotics and has no ill effects from his bite wound (presuming he does not get FIV).
Stay well, stay home (even in Missouri now) and let’s hope for universal testing. Let’s get beyond this dark time.
Harry is looking dapper, Jane looks marvelous and at home back up on her friend, and thank you again for sharing the spring color! We are at the tiny-green-stuff-timidly-poking-their-noses-out-of-the-soil phase. The moon is spectacular this month, enjoy!
Be well and safe ❤️
Our lilacs will be opening soon, but yours will be better, though later. Ours will be overcome by the too warm weather in the forecast. They are my among my favorite Spring flowers, and always so much better up north! Hang in there, it will be worth it. I will be hoping for clouds to lift and will watch for the moon.
FB got me down today so I am now reading all of the replies to your April blogs…much better stuff thanks! The lilacs here are glorious when they finally show up. They bathe the entire village in their sweet scent. White out today, will flirt with the 20s all week, just feasting my eyes on your wonderful images thank you!❤️
Oh, Linda! Such a long wait for Spring way up there, but it will be worth it, I’m sure. I am not a fan of April snow, but at least you are assured that lilacs await in the not too distant future.
I seldom regret my departure from FB, though occasionally Jane sends me screenshots of interesting posts, so I am a cheater!
Stay warm there with your perfect family. Such a shame about the Storytelling Festival cancellation, but selfishly, I am very glad it brought you through here before it was called off. I have a wonderful vision of you and Ted and Tink and Beka fresh in my memory.
Harry, you look great!!! We’ll be seeing you years from now. Anne how about some selfies? Miss seeing your beautiful always smiling face! And, Weedy, always looks happiest next to Harry. I did give him a pat on his big nose. Love to you all. Oh! And, Jane looks so happy back in her element! Good to see, I love this blog, always cheers me! Thank you, good friends!
OK, Jane – not a selfie, but tonight I will post a picture of me. So gratifying that you enjoy the blog. I feel it is frightfully inadequate to the enormity of the situation in which we find ourselves, but on we go…
Harry is looking great!! So nice to see him on his feet. Absolutely love the woodpecker. I don’t see them too often as I don’t have a lot of woods around my house.
Great pics.
Good to hear from you, Betsy. Stay well! Are you able to ride?
