After a very hectic December derailing most of my intentions to blog, we have had a peaceful white Christmas, albeit terribly cold. Compared to the northeastern U.S. weather, though, we have it easy. Only a little bit of snow – an inch or two, and we are fortunate to be safe and warm with all animals healthy and fairly content.
The bitter cold has brought birds galore, and we have been providing seed and water, which has been appreciated. The flicker, one of my favorite birds, has made several appearances, but I haven’t caught a picture yet. Here are a few that I did get…
And a few more…
Merry Christmas to all…
Be safe, be well, be merry. Be grateful for all we have. Slava Ukraini! Peace.
What incredible portraits of our fine-feathered friends!
We headed south, only to find the same nearly frigid conditions we left! Home soon.
I love the variety of birds you have. Nice pictures. Best wishes!
Exquisite photos of your grateful birds, I especially like the fat fluffed up closeup of the Cardinal and the alarming gem like blue of the Bluebirds–Wow!! Wow!!!
