It is firearms deer season, but the herd around here is safe, and they know it. They stay within the confines of “Requat Farms”, where no hunting is allowed. Hence, we are seriously overpopulated. Weather forecasts are famously unreliable, but there seemed little doubt that today was to be a warm one and tomorrow it will be correspondingly miserable.
