Monday – November 23, 2020

We had a frosty start today. The sun was out, and the grass glistened. I probably need to start thinking about putting away the hoses…

A female cardinal was early to breakfast on the frosty deck railing.

I was very excited to see a pair of bluebirds on the top of the ash tree out by the paddock.

Jane and I went for a short bike ride. First we got barked at by Holly, the neighbors’ dog. She barks a lot, but is really quite sweet. We saw Marilyn’s horses, Chilly and Bruno, turned out together. What a pair, the old man and the handsome young guy!

Tom Morris had a cold night out last night and he was sound asleep all morning.

Meanwhile, Roscoe was out patrolling the grounds, as Cora made her way to a late breakfast.

In the barn, Rosie awaited Cora, so that she could bully her. The Crouchers are pacifists and keep a low profile. So low, I couldn’t get a picture of them today!

Harry and I went across the river today and ran necessary errands. He still found time to work, of course. In the studio, there was a reunion!

Finally, a trio of happy horses.

Stay safe, stay well.

  1. Great photos! Bluebirds and your perfectly matched pair, Oisin and Bart, mirroring each other’s stance. Happy Days! Am I supposed to know who the emerging couple is?

  2. Ok I came here to the comment section just to compliment especially the bird photos and now I see I’m just piling on
