How can we be halfway through November already!? The news from Bronze Fox Farm is pretty sparse today. Harry went to his ophthalmologist and received another good report, along with her hand written instructions on which drops to use, and how many, and when, until the final recheck next month. I do like precise instructions.
Meanwhile, I went to visit my friend, Linda, at her new apartment, which is really nice, and not terribly far from here. We had a fun time together.
I had news from another friend who had a hip replacement last week, and she is doing well, despite the unfortunate complication of her bone fracturing during the surgery! I would be complaining much more bitterly than she, but she is a stoic, and it sounds like she is well on her way to recovery. Unfortunately, she lives in another state, so I cannot visit.
Harry had a brief rest with Weedy, who was exhausted from accompanying Harry on his morning errands, and Mistletoe, whose chief joy in life is lying on the bed with Harry. She cannot hunt moles anymore, so we hate to deny her this pleasure.
Mistletoe still dreams of this Harry and dogs
Jane and I had a fun ride on Derry and Bart, jumping and galloping on the ring, with no wind on a warm afternoon. The only problem is that the days are so short now.
Bart was not exactly inspired today Jane with our chestnut Irish horses after their ride
Another nice day is expected tomorrow.
Sunset
Stay safe, stay well. Peace.
