Well, things are not improving out in the real world. Anxiety hangs over us even here, and news from friends arrives by texts, e mails, and occasional phone calls. Watching television news or listening to the radio doesn’t help much.

Harry seems stronger today than yesterday. At this rate, he says he may not need a wheelchair for our next x ray visit, scheduled for April 2. That is, if the doctor’s office is still seeing patients by then. Dr. Cooper, the cardioelectrophysiologist we are scheduled to “see” an April 1 to discuss Harry’s atrial fibrillation, has started arranging conferences by phone or video. That’s fine with us. All we need to do is discuss things.

The days fly by with various chores , and I never seem to get everything done. This wife job is harder than I expected, fixing meals and cleaning the house. I was lucky to avoid it for almost 35 years. Since I used to only clean once per season, I never realized how much dirt and dog hair accumulates in one day!

One day, one room!!

Roscoe is quite appalled at the changes around here. He likes to be involved in everything, except housecleaning.

Roscoe is judgmental

One of the morning chores is feeding the birds, then, if opportunity presents itself, taking pictures…

Baldy, the squirrel avails himself of the bird feed often. He doesn’t look too bald in this picture, or maybe that is Mrs. Baldy!

Harry walks almost normally now, and loves being able to go to the bedroom and check in with Weedy, resting after a long adventure.

Even better is resting with Weedy and Mistletoe!

Roscoe agrees that resting is the best!

Stay safe out there! Get plenty of rest, and try not to be anxious… Peace!
