Marianne takes Mondays off. Not off all jobs, just here. She was very willing to work while I was sick, but I figure looking after the horses will build my strength back.
The horses were enjoying the cool weather so much that they came in late for breakfast. Stone started resting in the field under a perfect Spring sun.
When they came in for breakfast, it wasn’t long before the Pearl Brothers were on the ground.
The doctor’s office called about the test results, and they phoned in a prescription for human grade doxycycline to take for an additional 7 days.
Our friend Louise came by after her riding lesson for a visit. She is always full of fun, and it was great to see her, though I am ridiculously tired.
I rested for a while and Harry worked in the studio. He is always tweaking and changing, seeing things that I don’t notice, and fixing them. I remain in awe after all these years.
I was too tired to do much, saving my energy for stall cleaning.
I did get a picture of iris blooming. Not a patch on Jane’s!
I’m afraid this post is just to let you all know I am still out here, still very grateful for all the support, but so fatigued that this is all there is. I did get the stalls cleaned. That was my PT.
And finally, here is my pileated woodpecker subject, who thwarted my flight shot yet again…
Stay well, stay safe, stay hydrated and get plenty of rest. Stronger tomorrow.
Wonderful, lovely, REST and heal, stay safe and be well ❤️
