Well, December has been a very hectic time, sending Christmas cards and connecting with friends. The blog has been neglected again. There just never seem to be enough hours in the days. Speaking of days, we have made it to the solstice, and the days have begun to lengthen, which is always a welcome progression.
Harry has been busy in the studio on a bust for the Legends Walkway in Springfield, Missouri at The Missouri Sports Hall Of Fame. Vlad picked up the clay this morning to get started on molds and casting. As often happens, it’s a rush. Still, it was good to see Vlad on a rainy and dreary Christmas morning.
The animals are well. They enjoy every day, and remind us often to stay in the moment.
Weedy and Eddy enjoy running errands with us. As soon as a car starts, there is great excited anticipation. And they really don’t care where the car goes, they just enjoy the ride. A lesson there, I think.
Birds are being fed at various places, but photo opportunities are fewer since we replaced the deck.
We are very fortunate that our dogs love meeting people. Not so fortunate, maybe, for visitors who expect dogs to be mannerly. Weedy and Eddy are aggressively affectionate, which they think is good manners!
And so, Merry Christmas to all. Wishing for peace and kindness in the year ahead.
Be well, be safe, be grateful for every day. Slava Ukraini! Peace…
