A goldfinch did a happy dance as the sun sent the frost away.
There were plenty of goldfinches feeding today.
Tom Morris enjoyed basking in the sun – orange cat under red berries.
The horses were very content.
Rosie enjoyed the full water trough.
Jane and I spied these fungi riding through the woods, so I went back with the good camera to get pictures.
Late afternoon, Marilyn rode through with her new horse, Bruno. He matches Chilly, but is a youngster – and he is a foxtrotter! Marilyn’s back will be very happy.

Marmalade and Licorice were horrified at the intrusion of strangers, just as they were beginning their dinner, but Roy was well behaved, no cat food was stolen, and soon enough they were able to dine in peace. Afterwards, replete, Marmalade relaxed as the sun went down.
