Harry had a good night, considering what he went through on Thursday. He is making a quick recovery. The worst part for him will be taking it easy until Monday, but he has plenty of company with his pack of disreputable dogs. Here is one couple (half the pack)…
I left the barn open last night, the weather was so mild. Today was cloudy and damp again, and the temperature dropped through the day. The horses were quite frisky!
Stone tries to get taller than Bart Bart decides to put him in his place Oisin thinks romping is very thirsty work
The birds are getting hungrier. I saw a flock of juncoes on my way out to the barn. They are distinctive because they explode up from the ground underneath bushes with their white striped tails flashing. On the back deck, there was a very handsome titmouse, and a nuthatch keeping company with a goldfinch.
Luckily, we have never put the furniture back since February, when everything was moved for the hospital setup. So we configured things today so that Harry and his team of therapists can keep in close touch.

Mistletoe was exhausted by the work, and Cedar commiserated.
Harry looks great. You would never guess that he was under general anesthesia for over two hours yesterday!
I was able to squeeze onto the couch this evening. It was nice and warm. Harry took a picture.
Finally, the bronze fox in the autumn color was beautiful this afternoon.
Stay safe, stay well, stay warm.
I’m glad that Harry is doing so well. Hopefully he feels as good as he looks. I hope that you’re not exhausted. Take care.
