Yet another beautiful, cool, perfect Spring day!
It became a day of chores, but I kept misplacing my camera, so I did not get many pictures. Nathaniel mowed, and everything looks lovely, which is good timing, as rain in the evening forecast has arrived right on schedule. There is never enough time in the Spring, but I am trying to stay in the moment and pay attention to whatever I am doing, not worrying about what I’m not getting done.
I found a couple more Lenten Roses (Hellebores), including a white one. In the 17 years we have been here, I have always overlooked these, and every Spring, I admire Jane’s and plan to plant some. At last, it has happened.
I came upon this little guy while weeding. He was quite feisty, and beautiful. I insisted on some pictures, then let him go about his business. I believe it was a garter snake, though I am not very good at reptile identification.
Roscoe kept me company doing barn work. Bart came to the water trough for a drink while I was working, and I had the camera handy.
In the studio, I took a couple of progress pictures.
And then, on the porch, Harry with his motley , but much loved pack.
Mistletoe, Harry, Weedy, Cedar and Nettle
There was not much of interest to relate today. Sometimes the less exciting times are the best. All residents of Bronze Fox Farm are relatively healthy and sound, for which we are grateful.
Stay safe, stay well. Peace.
