It rained a LOT last night, which we did not expect. The horses got a day off work, and they did not complain.
Harry and I took a walk down to the ring to see just how wet it was (very). We saw the first crocus! Also, the peepers are awake and peeping in the woods, a real sound of Spring.
I saw Tom Morris fishing at the edge of the “water feature”. It was a relief to know that there are still live fish and frogs, after the big freeze. Tom Morris did not harm any creatures, but he had a lot of fun.
It was a bad day for riding, but a good day for birds.

Best of all, the rufous sided towhee made an appearance on the back porch!

Harry worked in the studio, and took some time to compose a song during a break. It’s a bit intimidating being married to someone so creative!
Roscoe is not intimidated at all. He thought this rainy day was made for cat naps.
Harry insisted on taking a picture of me while I was cuddling Mistletoe. Mistletoe stuck her tongue out.
Finally, a beautiful sunset predicts a nice day tomorrow (“red sky at night, sailor’s delight”).
Stay safe, stay well. Peace.
Wow, peepers and croci and Anne you and Mistletoe are adorable. And so is your creative husband. Thanks for sharing.
Peace
That’s such a sweet photo of you and Mistletoe! When I viewed that fiery sunset from my limited perspective here in U. City,
I thought of you seeing it in all its grand glory. Thanks for sharing it.
Give Mistletoe a hug for me. Walking with Harry and seeing a crocus while listening to peepers, what a life! Hope your tooth pain is gone. You help us understand how birds navigate air by your lovely photos!
