After a busy weekend, I am back to birds this morning, though it’s still somewhat drear and cloudy. Daughter Anne visited on Saturday, with Covid precautions. Life, even here in the country, was overshadowed by chaos in Washington D.C., and although I try to abstain from political discussion here, I cannot deny that this was a disgrace. It was a frosty start, but a beautiful day, with sunshine at last! The birds were beautiful, as always, but I only took a couple of pictures. Tuesday mornings are hectic, because stalls must be done before the dumpster gets emptied, and Harlan, the trash guy, comes early most Tuesdays. We fill it completely in
