Day dawned for a rainy morning drive back across the river, but we had smooth sailing, and a good report from the doctor. The patch was removed, and already Harry can see better. The doctor promises it will get better, as the dilated pupil returns to normal, and the cornea heals. I enjoyed this cataract

Poor Harry couldn’t have breakfast, because today was his scheduled cataract surgery. I turned horses out into the paddocks, and took some early morning bird pictures, then we were off to St. Luke’s Hospital. The patient awaiting surgery… And after surgery… All went well.
