Busy Monday – March 31

An early start today, turning the horses out to a chilly pasture, then off to Quest for bloodwork. My annual checkup is scheduled for Friday. This promises to be a very busy week, and today was no exception. I had time for only a few pictures, as I muddled my way through more activities than properly fit one day. I am terrible at time management!

The day was beautiful, if busy. I stayed away from news and the internet, so kept my sanity intact. Eddy’s enthusiasm for life is apparent throughout the day. He was even thrilled about the trip to Quest! He is a tonic in these difficult days.

Harry had a meeting with Vlad, which meant travel to downtown St. Louis. The dogs, especially Weedy, were very happy when he returned, as was I. Not much in the way of cat pictures, just Cora in her cat house in the tack room, and Roscoe asleep on my lap during his evening cuddle time.

This has been a perfect Spring so far. Maybe a bit too much in the way of March winds, but no crazy warm days. Cool nights and moderate afternoons have allowed blooms to endure longer than in many recent years.

Be well, stay safe and sane. Pay attention to the world around us, stay strong and be kind. Slava Ukraini! God Save America. Peace…

  1. God bless the dogs! Nature and the birds keep balance in this topsy – turvy world. Thanks for sharing all that’s good 🌝😻
