It was a very cool morning, and we were up with the mist to ride. The horses seemed fine after their day at the show, and Oisin was quite happy to be back in action.
While we were riding, we heard workers arriving, and all sorts of commotion. The gutter guys started work, which will take a couple of days. Unfortunate timing, with the horse show in progress, but it will be good to have it done. The house is a huge project for gutters, another scary job.

I rode Stone on the ring, but also on the trails, which we both enjoy. The trees are starting to turn color, and the cool temperatures are a treat. The day got quite warm, but this morning was lovely.
By 11:30 we returned to the show to watch.
Kris returns to the barn with True after her class Louise Chase and Jane
We visited various friends, then returned home to do chores. Harry was back at work in the studio, having a productive day after lunch with nephew Bob. Weedy was very sad to be left behind. No Starbucks pup cup today!
“Wait – you forgot me!” “Will there not be a pup cup?” Artist at work
Harry, Jane and I went back to the show to watch Louise in the Derby. It wasn’t her day, but we enjoyed the Open Welcome and many laughs with Louise and other friends. Tomorrow the horse showing gets intense for me.
Finally, here is Roscoe patrolling his kingdom…
Stay safe, stay well. Peace.
I had a look at the numbers for the Eq classes this evening. They are huge!
Good Luck tomorrow!
Is the Chris in the picture the same Chris who gives you all jumping lessons?
It is Kris, yes (he spells his name differently), in the picture. He has been a godsend to us late in life.
