Jane and I went to the Retina Institute today, where Jane’s eyes were examined. It seems that there is some improvement, but CME (Cystoid Macular Edema)turns out to be a common complication to cataract surgery. The doctor told Jane that 60% of people have an asymptomatic case after cataract surgery! Jane, alas, is not asymptomatic, but should improve over time. She will be putting drops in her eyes for the next four weeks, and there will be a recheck of her retina then. As her clinical signs improve, she will be able to jump again.
The horses self exercised. Oisin is a bit of a slacker, but Stone threw a few bucks and leaps. Bart is taking his romping to a high level in anticipation of possibly doing a lesson next week!
The lemon trees are back inside, with some cold nights this week. A hard frost this morning, and even colder forecast for tonight. There were many birds at the feeders, but not much time for pictures.

I did several chores this afternoon, including the first push mowing of the year! Harry took a picture.
The chef fixed delicious grilled cheese for supper.
Finally, the waning moon reflected in the pond this morning. It was cold but still, and beautiful…
Stay safe, stay well. Peace.
Love the jubilant horses at play!! What fun they are having. Oh my, I do hope Jane’s eyes improve fast!
Wonderful pictures Anne.
Be well soon Jane!
Go Bart Go!
